“My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.”
I’ve discussed both John Green and The Fault in Our Stars on this blog on multiple occasions.
John Green is a New York Time’s Best Selling Author, an author of the Young Adult book genre. Besides The Fault in Our Stars, John Green has also published wonderful books such as Looking For Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines. He is also well known for his YouTube channel, vlogbrothers, which he produces videos every week on different subjects with his brother, Hank Green.
The Fault in Our Stars follows the story of a 15 year old girl Hazel, a cancer patient. That’s all I’m saying. This book could easily change your life though. Here’s my review on it.
The point of this post focuses on the hair bow in the picture above. It was made by Louise of showtimebows. This is one of her charity bows. All proceeds from this bow are donated to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life for research on Rhabdomyosarcoma among other childhood cancers.. I bought the bow for both my nerdfighterness and the donation.
I’m really pleased with every order I’ve done with Louise and this bow was incredibly well made.
It’s only $8 and you won’t regret buying it.

While at LeakyCon, I told Brian Holden that he was on Ally’s list of Reasons to Keep Fighting, and told John Green how much The Fault in our Stars meant to her, and both were gracious enough to say a quick hello.
